Annual Report 2019: Destination Markets NTEs

The EU continues to be the major market for Ghana’s Non-Traditional Exports (NTEs), a position it has held consistently over time. The EU market alone accounted for a little above 38% of all NTEs. Ghana’s biggest trading partner in the EU during the year under review was the Netherlands, where a chunk of Ghana’s cocoa derivatives were exported.

The ECOWAS, a major trading bloc for Ghana was ranked 2nd behind the EU in terms of NTEs.
