Annual Report 2018: Industrial Art & Craft sub-sector

Export earnings from the Industrial Art and Craft sub-sector increased  by 23.65% from US$10.411 million in 2017 to US$12.873 million in 2018. The sub-sector contributed about 0.46% to total earnings of non-traditional exports. Ceramic product was the top earner  within the sub-sector.

The overall growth in the Industrial Art & Craft sub-sector in the year under review was due to concerted market research, extensive marketing of ceramics products in the ECOWAS sub region and focused efforts at taking advantage of ECOWAS Trade Liberalization Scheme by manufacturers of ceramics tiles.
