GEPA collaborates with key stakeholder institutions

Representatives from GEPA together with their counterparts from Globally Cool in the Netherlands have held a consultative discussion with three key Institutions to fashion out strategic areas of collaboration. The objective of the visits was to seek strategic alliances with these institutions for synergistic benefits.

The team’s initial visit was at the National Investment Bank (NIB) head office to review the existing collaboration between the two institutions and to seek avenues for further collaboration going forward. The GEPA team comprised Dep. Director Marketing, Communication & PR; Head of PR, Assistant PR and representative of Globally Cool from the Netherlands. The NIB part was represented by Yaw Akosa Antwi, General Manager Client Services and Ackah Jerry Forson, Trade Sale Officer International Banking.

The team again visited the Ghana Port and Habours Authority (GPHA) to introduce the Market Hub to the marketing and PR team in GPHA. The general manager, marketing and corporate affairs, Mrs. Esther Gyebi Donkor, led the GPHA.

The GEPA team took their counterpart through the Portal and the various aspects of the Hub such as events, news, competitor and market analysis amongst others.

The GPHA team was highly impressed with the outlook and the content as well as the interactive nature of the Hub. GHPA was ready to partner GEPA in the interest of exporters using the Hub as a strategic tool.

The last visit of the GEPA team took them to Ghana Shippers Authority (GSA). GEPA met with the staff and management of GSA at the Head office on Friday May 31, 2018 to introduce the Market Hub and seek areas of partnership.  The representation took GSA through various segments of the Hub, which included potential Market and competitor reports, online directory that links international buyers to Ghanaian producers and exporters amongst others.

GSA was represented by the deputy CEO, Mrs Sylvia Asana D. Owu, Frederick Atogyiri head of public relations amongst others.

Further consultations with the above institutions are still on going to fine-tune the specific areas of collaboration.
