GEPA Wins Outstanding Booth Award at Africa Tea and Coffee Expo 2026 in Kigali
The Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) has received the Outstanding Booth Award at the Africa Tea and Coffee Expo 2026 held in Kigali, Rwanda, following an impressive showcase of Ghana’s tea and coffee products and the country’s growing export potential.
Led by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Administration and Operations, GEPA participated in the expo alongside Ghanaian exporters, providing a platform to showcase the quality, innovation and diversity of Ghanaian tea and coffee products to buyers, investors and industry stakeholders from across Africa and beyond.

The expo created opportunities for Ghanaian businesses to engage directly with potential buyers, explore new markets and establish connections that could translate into sustainable commercial partnerships. Through these engagements, participating exporters were able to promote their products, understand emerging market opportunities and position their brands for greater visibility within the international tea and coffee industry.
GEPA’s participation also highlighted the Authority’s continued efforts to support Ghanaian businesses in accessing international markets and strengthening the competitiveness of Made-in-Ghana products.
The highlight of Ghana’s participation came with the presentation of the Outstanding Booth Award to GEPA. The recognition acknowledged the quality, presentation and impact of Ghana’s exhibition at the expo, while further demonstrating the growing appeal of Ghanaian products on the international stage.
Beyond the award, the achievement reflects the dedication of Ghanaian exporters who continue to develop products capable of meeting the expectations of consumers and buyers in global markets. It also reinforces the importance of strategic participation in international trade exhibitions as a means of creating visibility, facilitating business connections and opening doors to new export opportunities.
The Africa Tea and Coffee Expo 2026 therefore served not only as a platform to showcase Ghana’s tea and coffee offerings, but also as an avenue to strengthen trade relationships and advance Ghana’s export agenda.
With new connections established and market opportunities identified, GEPA remains focused on creating platforms that enable Ghanaian businesses to connect, compete and export more to markets around the world.
