Congrats to all participants who made it to the 1st Rwanda-Ghana Virtual Business Summit.

In all close to 300 participants representing the agribusiness, manufacturing and services sector joined the virtual summit collaboratively organized by the Rwanda Development Board, Ghana Export Promotion Authority and the Rwanda High Commission in Ghana.

The Rwanda Development Board, Ghana Export Promotion Authority, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Ghana Food and Drugs Authority and the Rwanda Food and Drugs Authority delivered presentations that sparked animated discussions on opportunities for trade in both countries.

Top in the list of investment opportunities in Ghana were the areas of agribusiness, manufactured products, e-governance applications, solar panel infrastructure, real estate, venture capital, tech-parks, oil & gas and transport sectors.

Similarly Rwanda offered opportunities in the area of electric cables, dairy products, chili oil, smart phones, roasted coffee, varieties of tea, e-health solutions and tourism.

The virtual summit is the first of its kind between both countries and closely follows a familiarization tour of Rwanda earlier in March, by a delegation of Ghanaian business representatives from the private and public sectors.
