Albe Farms Limited

Albe Farms Limited, is a company that was registered on 13th March,1995 by its owner and manager, Mr. Albert Atua Amponsah. The company produces and export fresh pineapples to the EU.

We cultivate the three varieties Smooth Cayenne, MD2, and Sugarloaf. Annually we export 375 tons of Fresh pineapple to the EU, specifically France and the Netherlands. We have about 40 acres of pineapples under cultivation to renew our GlobalG.A.P. certification.

There is an out-grower scheme located in the southern sector of the country specifically Nsawam involving about 20 farmers cultivating about 60 acres of arable land with the support of the firm. The scheme is under strict supervision of the enterprise to ensure that the right and acceptable best farming practices are adhered to in order to get the best yields.

Our export market distribution channels are for importers, large retailers which are most of the supermarkets in the European market.
