Ghana Sector: Food and beverages

The food and beverages industry in Ghana is a rapidly growing industry. It comprises food and beverage processors, retailers and related companies and organizations in Ghana. The country’s food industry is fragmented, with few companies counting as major producers with national reach. On one hand Ghana is home to big fast-moving consumer goods firms such as Coca Cola, Nestlé, Cadbury and Unilever. However on the other hand domestic companies are emerging fast. Some key products for exports include juices made from concentrates, (non) alcoholic drinks,  fruit juices from natural fruits and the like. Please note that Ghana’s exportable offer for fresh produce is presented separately.
