Take Advantage of the support offered by GEPA – Dr. Afua Asabea Asare
The Chief Executive of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), Dr. Afua Asabea Asare has encouraged participants at the Women in Agriculture conference to take advantage of the support offered by GEPA, TIAST Group and other partners, to enable them venture into value addition and agro-processing for export. She gave the advise when she mounted the podium as the guest speaker to the event.
She further indicated that Ghana’s position in the world provides exporters and other business people the opportunity to access the international markets. She also advised participants to take advantage of the vast stretch of fertile arable lands available to go into production and exportation.
She added that GEPA is positioned to support women in Agriculture through the numerous initiatives the Authority has designed. The Impact Hub, a one-stop-shop for all export related information and other projects are but a few that offer support to exporters.
