Head & Shoulders snapped into social for NYE celebrations
THE WHAT? Head & Shoulders partnered with Snapchat to spread a little love as 2020 came to an end. The P&G-owned hair care brand leveraged AR tech to allow users to send virtual hugs to friends and family on New Year’s Eve.
THE DETAILS The experience was available to every user in the US. Snapchatters were prompted to ‘send a hug 2020-style’ and then appeared in a holiday scene wearing a branded Head & Shoulders sweater.
THE WHY? With COVID-19 continuing to rage, distancing measures and stay home orders have kept loved ones apart all year and sent many of our rituals digital.
