L’Oréal pre-lets North West space as headquarters and warehouse base

THE WHAT? L’Oréal is said to have pre-let a 900,000 sq ft space on the Russell Group’s H.Park scheme, located on land south of the Heywood Distribution Estate in Rochdale, according to a report by Logistics Manager.

THE DETAILS The North West land is set to house its headquarters and warehouse facilities, with the distribution centre having 753,861sq ft of warehouse space, a 32,071 sq ft two-storey office, and a 4,370 sq ft hub office.

The site is due to add value through integrated green spaces to aid local biodiversity.

The deal is subject to planning permission.

THE WHY? The French beauty giant has been reportedly seeking a suitable space in the North West for four years, and is said to have signed a 15-year lease on the site.
