Walgreens Boots Alliance top marketer Vineet Mehra leaves for Silicon Valley

THE WHAT? Walgreen Boots Alliance Global Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Customer Officer Vineet Mehra is leaving the company for an undisclosed role in Silicon Valley.

THE DETAILS The marketing veteran is leaving the personal care company after two years of service, with details about his forthcoming role to be announced in the coming weeks.

THE WHY? Taking to a statement, Walgreens Boots Alliance said that Mehra was leaving to, “take on a new opportunity as chief growth officer at a start-up company in Silicon Valley.”

It continued, “Vineet has made significant contributions to WBA over the past two years and we wish him every success in his new venture.”
