WTO members consider holding a workshop on preferences for services exporters in LDCs

WTO members tasked the WTO Secretariat with drafting an agenda for a virtual workshop next spring on preferential treatment for exporters of services in least-developed countries (LDCs) at a meeting of the Services Council on 4 December. The workshop was proposed by the WTO’s LDCs group. The meeting also saw several members present their initiatives on supporting the expansion of digital capabilities and a discussion of recent services measures.
