Cocoa Butter – promising markets (2016)

Ghana’s largest export destination for cocoa butter in 2016 was The Netherlands. It reached a growth of +10% annually on average from 2011-2015. Ghana reached very high growth rates at numerous current top export destinations, with Bulgaria standing out with +497% on average per year from 2011-2015.

Potential new markets for Ghana include Estonia ,Germany and South Africa. Ghana virtually does not export yet to these markets.
