Cocoa Paste in The Netherlands – Competitor Analysis (2017)

The Netherlands imported over 325 million USD of cocoa paste in 2016 and is therewith the second largest importer on the globe. Almost 90% of this is coming from Côte d’Ivoire (67%) and Ghana (20%). Total export value from Ghana to The Netherlands reached 66.7 million USD. Other significant supplier in the Dutch market is Germany, with 9% market share. Other (small) African suppliers include Nigeria and Cameroon.
