DDG Ellard discusses trade remedy trends, MC12 outcomes

In her keynote address to the Seoul International Forum on Trade Remedies on 14 October, Deputy Director-General Angela Ellard addressed trends in trade remedies and noted a substantial decrease in the number of new investigations in 2021. She also discussed the importance of the WTO’s Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies, adopted at the 12th Ministerial Conference (MC12), in addressing the consequences to the ocean and the environment caused by harmful subsidies.
