DDG Wolff: International regulatory co-operation key to managing trade frictions
Regulatory matters are often at the forefront of trade policy, and finding better ways of co-operating on regulation is increasingly part of regional and global trade initiatives, Deputy Director General Alan Wolff said on 19 March. With a good record on transparency and dispute avoidance, the WTO’s Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee has a central role to play in this area.
