Members share experiences on e-commerce, talk LDC services waiver and services commitments
WTO members shared experiences in the digital sphere and discussed operationalizing the services waiver for least-developed countries (LDCs) at a meeting of the Council for Trade in Services on 11 March. They agreed to review exemptions to the WTO non-discrimination principle and also raised several services-related trade concerns at the Council. Members discussed the implementation of services commitments at a separate meeting of the Committee on Specific Commitments, one of the Council’s subsidiary bodies.
