Members streamline texts on subsidy prohibitions for IUU fishing and overfished stocks

In the run-up to the WTO 11th Ministerial Conference in Buenos Aires in December, WTO members worked to produce streamlined negotiating texts covering various proposals for subsidy prohibitions relating to illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing and overfished stocks at the 13-17 November meetings of the Negotiating Group on Rules.
