Members urged to demonstrate the WTO can deliver for international community

WTO members were urged at the opening session of the 12th WTO Ministerial Conference in Geneva on 12 June to demonstrate that the WTO can deliver for the international community and the people it serves. As the world grapples with uncertainty and crises on multiple fronts, this is a time to show that multilateralism works, said WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
