Panels established to rule on US subsidy duties, Colombia’s compliance with tariff ruling

At its meeting on 19 June, the WTO’s Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) agreed to the establishment of two new dispute panels: one to review a complaint filed by Turkey against US countervailing duties on imports of Turkish steel pipes and tubes; and the second to review Colombia’s compliance with an earlier WTO ruling regarding tariffs on imports of textiles, apparel and footwear from Panama.
