Solid progress in talks on Australia’s accession to the Government Procurement Agreement

Work to complete Australia’s accession to the WTO Government Procurement Agreement (GPA) has intensified and is nearing final stages. The accessions of the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan to the Agreement are advancing steadily as well, informal discussions in the Committee on Government Procurement on 21 June 2017 have confirmed. The accession negotiations of Russia and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia kicked off at the meeting.
