WTO members consider record number of trade concerns at Goods Council meeting

The Council for Trade in Goods discussed 44 trade concerns maintained or newly introduced by WTO members at its meeting on 7-8 July. The chair, Mr Etienne Oudot de Dainville of France, also informed members of plans to discuss the role of the Council in the implementation of the “Geneva Package” of declarations and decisions, which members adopted at the 12th Ministerial Conference (MC12).
